NS4Nitrogen is both a probiotic and a nitrogen fertiliser.  It is effectively a slow release nitrogen fertiliser.  Research has shown that the nitrogen stays in a form accessible to plants as required for a least six months.  In many nitrogen fertilisers, the nitrogen is present or degrades to a nitrate.   Nitrates are highly soluble and so are easily leached  from the soil.  Nitrates are also less biologically available to the plant.
